What happened to going out, enjoying a good game of tennis, soccer, netball or rugby? is technology replacing every task that is to be performed by human beings?, Well today technology is used even for hugs. This is sad, well today marks a day where technology is beginning to step in the place of friends and quality time.
I was intrigued today by the image and article about a huggable robot. As according to the site on News Dicovery Hiroshi Ishiguro Japanese Robot designer has found a way to change your loved ones voice into vibrations and create a heartbeat.
I believe that technology is some how over stepping its mark. Technology should be used to enhance ones living not replace people.Will technology cause a shift from people to technology?

We will soon be having robots cleaning , feeding us , you name it. I just think all these inventions are going to make us lazy and are slowly but surely phasing out man power.
@ Molebogeng I agree with you with the advancing technology it will not be a suprise if technnology cleans feeds and repalces manpower although we still need man power to programme the robots
No ways, this is what I call being deep and well Mho I agree with you, technology is over stepping the mark. I mean really? Clearly we letting such take over our lives, it's really sad. Now people will start having robots to date, I know I may be pushing it but at the rate technology is going most definitely we are going that root. I mean a machine has no feelings, can they stop already before they destroy the beauty of life and the feeling of being loved.
@ Motlatsi hahahaha, Yes technology is definetly overstepping its mark.Who knows maybe in 20 years time we will have robots for partners , personally I hope that never has to happen. The beauty of life is surely and slowly being destroyed
LOL....technology is really going too far with this one, Not long we will bekilled by the mechine we invented,Life will be meaningless to our children's childdren not knowing how it feels playing in the grass and getting themself dirty....teminators are going to eleminate us mo......hehehe....
@ T quiet lol lol I think technology has also gone too far with this invention. With the advancement of technology who knows we may have children having toy robots too Our childrens children better not loose the value of social life and technology
